Hotel Van der Valk Maastricht

BREAKFAST VERY NICE . BUT A BIT LESS THAN VALK SASSENHEIM; VERY QUIET AND STAFF VERY HELPFULL, hotel very nice and spacious

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Van der Valk ! We appreciated the cleanness of the room. We were 3 in the room and we were impressed with the size of the room. We enjoyed the wellness center and the room service for dinner. Great location, great staff and great breakfast with variety of products ! The parking is free and the city center is 10min away by public transport. I recommend this hotel. Thank you !

The pool/wellness area was very cold. The pool temperature itself was chilly as was the jacuzzi. One sauna - was either inoperable or not finished. It was an room with an open door and sauna benches but didn't work. The other was an infrared sauna which required pushing a button to reactivate the heat every 5 minutes. Also, the Wellness room had a fireplace but it was not turned on. Towels were located at the reception desk...inconvenient. Overall, for me this was a big negative as I booked the hotel to spend hours in the pool area.

The arrangement for meals was very well set out. There was good space for eating and tables were well set out. Food was very well presented catering with good choices for all to select. Good staff and service

The dining room / breakfast room is very spacious and well decorated. The breakfast buffet had plenty to offer and was very tasty. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The hotel is well managed and clean. They have a large free parking lot on the property.
